How to play Bixi Water Gun
- A water pistol with a 6-chamber cylinder. Each cylinder loads 2 to 4 WATER chambers at random, the rest are AIR. Everyone knows how many of each are left, but nobody knows the order.
- On your turn: play power cards if you like, then pick a player (yourself included) and pull the trigger.
- Water costs the target 1 heart. Shoot yourself and get air: you go again. Shoot someone else: the turn passes.
- Cards: Shield blocks one water shot. Peek privately shows the next chamber. Spin shuffles the remaining chambers. Double costs 2 hearts. Steal turn gives you one more turn.
- New cards: Mirror splashes the next water shot back on the shooter. Dry towel gives back 1 heart. Pump turns one air chamber into water. Pass the gun picks who shoots next.
- Downpour: from cylinder 6 on, every new cylinder gets 1 extra water so games do not drag on.
- Team play (4 or 6 players): seats alternate Red team and Blue team, you cannot shoot teammates, and the Umbrella card covers a teammate. The team with someone still dry wins.
- Knockout over 3 or 5 rounds: each round, players knocked out earlier score less and the last one standing scores most. After all rounds, the highest total wins. Quick table: 2 hearts, Downpour from cylinder 3.
- After all 6 chambers are fired, a new cylinder is loaded and everyone draws cards. Out of hearts means soaked and out. The last dry player wins. No coin bets.
Bixi Water Gun tips for beginners
- Watch the water and air counts: with little water left shoot yourself to go again, with lots of water aim at others.
- Peek before you decide, and switch on Double when you know it is water.
- Save Shields for when you are down to 1 heart, or when the cylinder is full of water.
- If someone peeks and then shoots themselves, the next chamber may be air; consider a Spin.
- Do not shoot a player holding a Mirror: the water splashes straight back at you.
- In team play, save the Umbrella for your teammate with the fewest hearts and use Pass the gun to hand the turn to the other team.

Frequently asked questions
Is Bixi Water Gun gambling?
No. There are no coin bets and no real money. Getting hit only costs a heart and your seat gets wetter. The last dry player wins.
How many water chambers are there?
The cylinder has 6 chambers. The number of water chambers changes with every load and everyone can see how much water and air is left. From cylinder 6, Downpour adds one water chamber per cylinder so games do not drag on.
Why shoot yourself?
If it is air you go again and keep control while the cylinder is still full of water. If it is water you lose a heart, so check the water count first.
What are team play and knockout?
Tables of 4 or 6 can split into Red and Blue teams, and you cannot shoot teammates. Knockout over 3 or 5 rounds adds up points each round, and the highest total wins.
