How to play Time Bomb
- Everyone has 2 lives and 4 cards. Whoever holds the bomb must play 1 card, then draws back to 4.
- Pass cards burn 1, 2 or 3 seconds of fuse and send the bomb on. Reverse flips the direction, Leapfrog skips one player, Cross throw picks the target.
- If the fuse runs out as you play, the bomb blows in your hands: lose 1 life. Longer fuse (+3 s) and Water bucket (+2 s) extend the fuse.
- Keep a Water bucket in hand: if the bomb blows on you it puts it out and you lose nothing. Listen tells you the exact seconds left.
- Cut fuse burns 4 seconds. Swap hands trades one random card with the receiver. Hand lock makes the receiver play one extra card before the bomb moves. Keep a Shield and a Cross throw at you bounces back. Peek shows the top 3 cards and you take one.
- Run out of lives and you are out. The last one standing wins the round. Each card shows its chance to blow.
Time Bomb tips for beginners
- With a long fuse, burn many seconds to corner the next player; with a short fuse, burn few.
- Keep a Water bucket in hand as insurance: if the bomb blows on you it puts it out.
- Listen when unsure: knowing the exact seconds lets you leave exactly 1 second for the next player.
- Cross throw at a player down to their last life to knock them out early.
